Halong Bay Cat Ba Island – 3D2N (on Cruise & Resort)

INTRODUCTION

Located in Ha Long Bay, Cat Ba Island is widely known as one of the most beautiful places to enjoy magnificent views of the sea. Travellers coming to Cat Ba can spend time at its two beaches: Cat Co 1 and Cat Co 2. The beaches are always very crowded with fellow tourists. The best time to go to Cat Ba is during the summer, between April and November. Getting to Cat Ba Island by boat is relatively easy, as there are plenty of tour agencies offering one-way trips to the island. Coming to the place, it is easy to get around by motorcycle taxis. At the same time, hotels, restaurants and shops are very accessible. Swimming, snorkelling, and diving are the most popular things to do on the island. Travellers can also enjoy a day of trekking, caving, and rock-climbing on Cat Ba Island, specifically at the Cat Ba National Park.

ITINERARY

Day 1 : Hanoi → Cat Ba Island → Lan Ha Bay → Halong Bay (L/D)

07h30 : The bus and tour guide will pick up you from Trang Tien Hostel depart to Got speedboat station and the bus takes you to Gia Luan habour. On the way, the bus run over the Sea road, you have time to sigh – seeing on the bus.

11h00 – 11h30 : Arrive in Gia Luan habour, The high speed tender will transfer you to the main boat. Get on board and warmly welcome from Cruise team with welcome drink.

After that, you will be given a short briefing about Cruise and safety guideline at our restaurant. Complete the check-in procedure and check-into our suite cabins.

13:00: Enjoy a lunch in the restaurant. Cruise start to depart for the voyage to discover the Lan Ha Bay – Halong Bay.

15:45: Visit the Ba Trai Dao area and the natural lagoon of Lan Ha Bay – this area includes the beach breaths a romantic atmosphere and three smaller islets like three giant peaches on the sea. You can join with our activities such as: kayaking, swimming, sightseeing and explore the Ba Trai Dao area.

In unfavorable weather conditions, to ensure the safety of our guest, this destination would be change into Light cave – famous for the pristine natural beauty and poetic, attractive seascape of Lan Ha Bay. You can join with our activities such as: kayaking, sightseeing on the bamboo boat, … It’s time for you to enjoy bamboo boats or swimming which is an interesting activity to discover the truest beauty of the stunning limestone structure and the blue sky of Lan Ha Bay.

17:30 – 18:30: Come back to our cruise and enjoy the pre-dinner sunset party with Happy Hour Promotion (buy 2 get 1 free with some kinds of drinks) at the bar while watching the view of the bay at sunset.

18:00: Join a cooking demonstration, our chef will guide you how to make some simple signature Vietnamese dishes.

19:30: Enjoy special seafood and typical Vietnamese food on the cruise.

21:00: Evening entertainment: Squid fishing, karaoke… Overnight on Cruise.

Day 2 : Halong bay → Lan Ha bay → Cat Ba Island (Cat Ba Ecolodge)

06:15: Wake up early, join the Tai Chi session on sundeck area, enjoy the fresh atmosphere and watch the sunrise in Lan Ha Bay.

07:00 – 07:45: Have breakfast. Admit morning view of bay’s landscape with a cup of tea or coffee.

08:00: Stroke the stunning views of the Bay and it’s dramatic limestone islets. Visit the famous Tra Bau, it’s time for freely kayak and explore the landscape, or swim…

09:00: Back to your cabin, relax and check carefully all the luggage before leaving your cabin.

09:30: Check-out and enjoy a fantastic cruise on the bay for room service. Complete check out procedure and enjoy your brunch at cruise.

10:30: Enjoy the brunch at restaurant.

11:30: Disembark at Gia Luan Habour . Then the bus / Car pick up you to resort on Cat Ba island. Check in the resort.

In the afternoon you have free time to relax at lodge. Have dinner and overnight at Cat Ba Ecolodge resort.

Day 3 : Cat Ba Island → Cat Ba National Park → Hanoi (B/L)

07h30 – 8h00 : Having breakfast.

Our car (motorbike is optional) go through lovely road with the two sides are tropical flowers, green trees and limestone mountains.

09h00 – 10h30: Arrive the entrance gate of Cat Ba National Park, start hiking for 1 hour up to Ngu Lam peak. The panorama view up – top worth the challenged way up

10h30 – 11h30: Then heading to Hospital cave (Hang Quan Y) which was built in American war. The tour guide will lead you to explore the cave. He will show you around the 17 rooms, point out the operating theatre in the war time and take you to visit the huge natural cavern that as used as a cinema. You will have chance to see an amazing construction of Vietnamese soldier built in the war time.

13h00: After lunch, the car takes you back to Ha Noi.

16h30: Arive in Hanoi. End 3 day Halong bay cruise and Cat Ba Island tour.

• A group with 2 adults & children: One child under 5 years old is FOC, the other children under 5 years old are charged at 75% based on adult rate, sharing a bed with parents.
• Children from 5 to under 9 years old are charged at 75% based on adult rate, sharing a bed with parents. Children from 9 years old are charged at 100% based on adult rates
